Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our clients warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality control and the ability to handle materials safely and efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Efficiently pack products according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality. Handle materials with care, including loading and unloading goods from lorries. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed for materials handling. Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and processing orders. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the packing area to promote safety. Perform quality control checks on packed items to ensure they meet company standards. Engage in stocking activities, replenishing supplies as necessary. Lift heavy items regularly, adhering to safety protocols during all operations.

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse operations, including picking and packing. Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment operation, particularly forklifts. Knowledge of warehouse management systems for efficient inventory control. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with basic equipment maintenance. Ability to perform quality control checks effectively to ensure product integrity. Experience in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks within a warehouse setting. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Working Hours are

Monday to Friday between 3pm and 11pm
