Job Description

We are a World leading design and engineering company based in Luton, developing high performance car intake systems. We are looking for an enthusiastic packing operative to be involved at the heart of the business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic company.

Duties and responsibilities as the Packer Operative will include but not limited to:

Packaging of finished product in accordance with standard operating and packaging procedures, while maintaining quality standards. and efficient production packaging flow

Carry out inspection against the relevant checklist to ensure all components are accounted for prior to packaging

Ensure all components are securely packaged prior to placement into the relevant size box

Apply relevant product labels to the finished product/s

Liaise with the Production Manager and Assembly Technicians for forward planning of products that will be required for packaging

Good keen eye or attention to detail and maintaining high standards

Place finished product/s into relevant finished goods location/racking

Highlight any consumables that you may require to the Operations Manager for re-ordering

Physically fit as manual handling is an essential part of the job.

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.

Responsible for communication of issues/information to the Operations/Production Manager

Maintain and check plant equipment in accordance with specified procedures and company Health and Safety policy reporting any defects/issues to the Operations/Production Manager

Key Skills/Experience

Proven work experience as an Inspector/Packer or similar role.

Computer literate

Excellent communication skills

Able to work unsupervised and be part of the team.

Excellent problem-solving

Excellent organisational skills

Able to communicate effectively

Essential

Must be able to read and understand technical/engineering drawings.

Must have experience in production manufacturing

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 26,000.00 per year
