Packing Operatives: Temporary, full time with a minimum of 3 months - could lead to a permanent job for the right candidates!
Location: Northallerton
Hours: Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.30pm
Pay: 12.21 per hour
IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED!
You must live locally or be able to reliably commute to the site
Job Summary
We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Packers to join our clients friendly team. The successful candidates will be responsible for efficiently packing goods for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a small dynamic environment, contributing to the smooth running of our packing process.
Duties include:

• Packing orders accurately, according to specifications, ensuring correct quantities and packaging standards are maintained
• Identifying, and addressing, any defects or discrepancies in products before dispatch
• Boxing and labelling of products
• Using your skills to identify minor equipment issues in order to maintain operational efficiency
• Ensuring the workspace remains clean and organised and complying with strict health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Previous production line/warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in packing
• Ability to work effectively in a small team environment whilst maintaining individual accountability
• Knowledge of basic machinery would be considered a plus
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards in a fast-paced environment
