Job Description

We are looking to expand our packing department and inviting candidates with experience at leading teams. Experience of a production/manufacturing environment would be great but is not required as full training on all the equipment will be provided.

Job purpose:

To lead and coordinate a team of packing operatives, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality packing operations. This role manages daily activities, maintains compliance with safety and quality standards, drives performance, and fosters a positive and productive team environment.

Main duties:

Lead, motivate, and support a team of packing operatives.
Organise task assignments, rotations and break schedules to maintain workflow efficiency.
Provide on-the-job training, coaching and guidance to team members.
Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met.
Monitor equipment performance and collaborate with Engineering to resolve issues.
Maintain clear communication with Supervisors, Production Management, and Quality Control (PQC)
Record campaign information on ERP system
Promote consistent housekeeping to keep packing areas clean, safe, and organised.
Accurately complete records for downtime, incidents, and non-conformance.

Other duties:

Where required, undertake tasks on the production line including making boxes, putting bottles onto the production line, labelling, capping or stacking pallets as required

Rotating Shifts 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm Mon-Fri

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year team leading experience (3 or more people)
Production/manufacturing environment experience (not essential)
Own transport
Computer literate
Good communication skills with excellent English

Salary: 28080pa (13.50ph)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50 per hour
