Job Overview
You will be joining a CQC regulated complex care provider that is nurse-led. This package is for a little child under 10 years old with neurodivergence, signs of pre-autism and presenting challenging behaviour.
Must be able to drive and hold a driver's license
Schedule: After-school from 2pm to 8:30pm on weekdays. Some weekends
Responsibilities
Assist client with sensory activities and emotional regulation
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
Pick up from school
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to supervising staff.
Develop and follow personalised care plans tailored to each client's needs.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' overall well-being.
Skills
Proficient in English, with strong verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families.
Spanish language skills preferred
Has extensive experience in SEN or working with children with special needs, autism
Experience in home care or care home settings is highly desirable. Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.A valid driving licence
is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.Job Type: Part-time

Complex Care: 2 years (required) o Special education: 2 years (required) o 1:1 teaching assistant or nursery: 4 years (preferred) o autism and challenging behaviour: 5 years (required) o epi pen: 3 years (preferred)

o Spanish at an intermediate level at minimum (preferred) (preferred)
