About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced
Paediatric Nurses (RPN or RN with children's experience)
to support our Day Surgery Unit in Essex. You will work alongside the existing team to provide expert paediatric care and help strengthen the workforce by sharing your paediatric expertise.Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to paediatric patients in the Day Surgery Unit. Support and mentor other staff with paediatric skills and knowledge. Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and maintain a safe environment for children. Participate in multi-disciplinary team activities and contribute to patient care planning.
Skills & Experience Required
Registered Paediatric Nurse (RPN) or Registered Nurse with
children's experience
. Band 5 required; Band 6 considered.Level 2 Safeguarding
certification.Paediatric Life Support (PLS)
training. Experience working inpaediatric surgery or day surgery settings
preferred.Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: 25.00-45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 55 per week
