The Role:





As a Words First Occupational Therapist in you will autonomously manage a caseload, attending clinical supervision and joining the Sensory Integration pathway in accordance with Words First policy. Responsibilities encompass assessing and diagnosing motor, perceptual, sensory, and functional difficulties through a variety of assessments, drafting comprehensive reports, and conducting EHCP assessments. The Therapist will collaborate with schools to establish and achieve planning targets, provide both group and individual therapy, and establish strong connections with parents. Offering advice, training, and therapy programs to education staff, along with evaluating treatment outcomes, are integral components of the role. The Therapist will work holistically within the Words First team, contributing to in-house resources and efficiently managing their diary.
