About the Role:

Join our expanding multi-disciplinary team as an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist specialising in EHCP assessments and ongoing treatment. Unlike assessment-only roles, working with colleagues, you'll support children throughout their entire journey - from initial EHCP assessment through to achieving their therapy goals.

We're looking for an HCPC-registered OT with proven EHCP/education report writing experience and established relationships with schools and SENCOs. This varied role combines assessment work with hands-on treatment, allowing you to see the real-world impact of your reports while supporting children across multiple clinic locations in Essex.

What You'll Do:

Conduct comprehensive paediatric OT assessments for EHCP applications Write detailed reports meeting Local Authority standards Provide ongoing occupational therapy to children with diverse needs Work collaboratively with schools, SENCOs, and multi-disciplinary teams Home, school, and clinic-based sessions across Essex, Suffolk & Cambridgeshire Support families throughout their EHCP journey

Essential Requirements:

HCPC registration (Occupational Therapist) Experience with paediatric OT assessments

Proven EHCP/education report writing experience

(essential) Experience working with schools, SENCOs, and Local Authorities Full UK driving licence Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

Band 6 experience or progression readiness Knowledge of standardised assessments (BOHA, Movement ABC, DASH, Sensory Profile 2) Sensory integration or developmental coordination disorder experience Familiarity with Essex, Suffolk, or Cambridgeshire SEND systems

Pay: 31,049.00-40,823.00 per year
