Are you an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist looking for your next step in a supportive multi-disciplinary community team?



Our Children and Young People's Integrated Therapy (CYPIT) East are expanding. We have exciting opportunities for qualified OTs at Band 6 and Band 7 with post qualification paediatric experience to join us in Maidenhead or Slough.



You'll join an experienced multi-disciplinary community team with a passion for seeing children and young people reach their potential.



Working in CYPIT you will:



Work with children and young people with developmental and complex needs

Have independence and autonomy to manage your own caseload

Our core hours are Mon - Fri 9-5, with some flexibility. We welcome full-time and part time applications (from 30 hours) and have permanent and fixed term contract positions available.

Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people with developmental / complex needs



Function as a specialist autonomous clinician, supporting delivery of the CYPIT model and provid ing support to more junior staff



Contribute to defined projects and service development initiatives as requested



Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records and provide written therapy plans and reports including contribution to the EHCP Assessment process and tribunals as required



Use the Care Aims care planning approach, impact-based clinical decision making, and associated outcome measures



Provide specialist clinical care including assessment, diagnosis and interventions, for a paediatric caseload

The "must haves" for this role:



Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with HCPC

Post qualification experience working with children and young people

Driver with access to a vehicle (or equivalent a bility to travel between multiple sites efficiently)
