This post would suit someone who has an interest in working with children and supporting the physiotherapy team. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of previous experience as a physiotherapy assistant/technician working in an NHS setting. This post does not require a physiotherapy qualification.


About the Role




We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Paediatric Physiotherapy Assistant to join our friendly paediatric physiotherapy team delivering physiotherapy services to children in mainstream and special schools, nurseries, and the community. The team is part of an integrated Paediatric Therapy Service and offers a multi-disciplinary, family centred rehabilitation service to children with a variety of complex needs.


Key Responsibilities




The successful candidate will be expected to deliver an effective and competent level of support to clinical and school staff to enable the delivery of physiotherapy to children and young people aged 4-19 years with complex health needs in a variety of community settings. The work is varied and requires the applicant to have a flexible approach and to be able to promote good customer service and effective working relationships.
