The team is supported by Clinical Practice Facilitators and departmental play specialist, along with strong links with the Paediatric and Adolescent Division.
We are looking for Paediatric nurses with experience of working within an Emergency Department or relevant acute clinical environment to join our expanding team who provide care to approximately 15,500 children and young people a year. You will need to have strong communication and leadership skills with an eagerness to advance in Emergency Nursing practice.
This is a responsible role encouraging you too can play an important part in strengthening our status as one London's leading Emergency Departments. You will be subject to an internal rotation shift pattern and be required to rotate within other areas of the department where children and young people are located.

To work according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and relevant
professional guidelines as a named nurse or key worker (with facilitation) for a defined group of patients and take responsibility for:
Protecting and supporting the health of individual patients and clients
Assessment of care and health education needs
Development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care
including discharge planning for each patient
