Burntwood, Staffordshire (hybrid working, with travel to sites/events across the UK as required)


Salary:

Up to 35,000 DOE

About the Paid Media Manager Role

We're seeking an experienced

Paid Media Manager

to join Busy Bees on a

12-month maternity cover contract

. This role is a fantastic opportunity to lead our

paid media and performance marketing strategy

across PPC, paid social, display, and other digital channels.
Reporting into the Head of Digital, you'll be responsible for delivering high-performing lead generation campaigns, managing budgets, and optimising ROI. You'll collaborate with our Brand, PR, and SEO teams as well as external agencies to ensure campaigns deliver results and support our ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the

paid media acquisition strategy

across PPC, paid social, display, and other digital channels. Drive lead generation activity at national and local level to achieve enquiry and visit targets. Plan, forecast, and optimise paid media budgets, ensuring maximum ROI. Build intelligent media plans and manage performance with agencies and partners. Report on channel performance with actionable insights, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Work with the Brand & PR team to align paid campaigns with brand marketing activity. Partner with the SEO Executive on localised campaigns to support low-demand centres. Monitor and improve performance across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid platforms. Stay ahead of

digital marketing trends

and implement new tools, platforms, and technologies. Deputise for the Head of Acquisition when required.

Skills & Experience We're Looking For

Proven success in

paid media management

, with a track record in

PPC, paid social, and performance marketing

. Strong digital-first background with hands-on experience in Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads, and other platforms. Experience in email, social, and content marketing. Skilled at analysing campaign data and optimising for conversions and ROI. Budget management expertise with a focus on efficiency and results. Ability to leverage new and emerging technologies to improve performance. Excellent project management and collaboration skills. Creative problem-solver with a proactive, positive approach. Degree or professional marketing qualification desirable.
