Overview


We are seeking a commercially minded and performance-driven Paid Media Specialist to join our in-house marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment and has proven expertise in running and optimising campaigns across multiple digital platforms.

You will take ownership of planning, execution and optimisation of paid media activity across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn, ensuring campaigns deliver against clear lead generation and cost per acquisition targets. You will be confident in analysing performance data, optimising for cost efficiency and quality and reporting actionable insights back to the wider team and senior management.

Working closely with our internal marketing team and external partners, you will play a key role in ensuring paid media activity aligns with commercial goals and drives measurable business outcomes. While the primary focus will be on paid campaigns, you will also contribute to campaign planning, creative testing and the wider marketing strategy.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paid media marketer to step into a specialist role with ownership and scope to shape performance marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:



? Be responsible for the hands on, day to day budget allocation and optimisation management of paid media campaigns across multiple ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads and LinkedIn.) and courses.

? Ensure all media activation and performance is in line with strategic business goals and departmental KPIs.

? Test and optimise creative formats, ad copy, audience/keyword targeting and landing page messaging to continually improve conversion rates and ROI.

? Set up, monitor and report on campaigns using performance data, focusing on key metrics such as CPL, CAC, CTR, ROAS and conversion rate.

? Manage budgets effectively, making adjustments based on campaign performance to maximise impact.

? Work closely with content and social media colleagues to ensure paid and organic activity work together effectively.

? Provide campaign insights to sales and marketing colleagues, helping improve lead qualification and conversion outcomes.

? Stay up to date with platform developments, emerging formats and best practices across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn to maintain a competitive edge.

? Contribute to wider campaign planning discussions, bringing ideas for new testing opportunities and optimisation approaches.

Qualifications and Skills:



? A minimum of four years of experience managing paid media campaigns, with a strong focus on Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn

? Proven experience delivering full-funnel campaigns, from prospecting through to retargeting.

? Confident using campaign data to drive optimisation decisions, with a strong grasp of metrics such as CPL, CAC, CTR and ROAS.

? Strong knowledge of audience targeting, keyword strategy and A/B testing across multiple channels.

? Ability to demonstrate strong budget management and the ability to allocate spend based on performance insights.

? Experience in briefing and reviewing creative assets, ensuring alignment with campaign goals and brand guidelines.

? Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, creative and external freelancers to drive lead quality.

? Comfortable using tools such as Google Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

? Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.

Desirable



? A degree or CIM qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies or a related field.

? Graphic design and video editing experience to create compelling assets for use in paid social campaigns.

? Experience running paid campaigns in the education or training sectors.

? Experience testing new channels beyond the core four outlined, such as Reddit.

? Knowledge of reporting tools like Power BI or Looker Studio

Pay: 32,000.00-38,000.00 per year
