Job Summary


We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various medical fields and demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. As a Consultant, you will provide expert guidance and support to healthcare organizations, enhancing their operational efficiency and patient care services. Your expertise in specialized areas such as EHR systems, medical imaging, and critical care will be instrumental in driving improvements across the organization.

Responsibilities



Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess current practices and identify areas for improvement. Provide expert advice on the implementation and optimization of EHR systems and EMR systems. Analyze clinical workflows to enhance patient service delivery in various specialties including psychiatry, cardiology, and oncology. Conduct training sessions for staff on best practices related to patient assessment, triage, and care plans. Stay updated on industry standards such as NCQA standards and HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance. Participate in clinical research initiatives to support evidence-based practices in patient care. Assist in the development of protocols for specialized treatments including botulinum toxin treatment, interventional radiology, and acute pain management. Support healthcare organizations in achieving accreditation through effective documentation and coding practices (CPT coding, ICD coding). Provide insights on operational strategies that enhance efficiency in perioperative care, outpatient services, and inpatient management.

Experience



Proven experience in a clinical or consulting role within healthcare settings such as hospitals or outpatient clinics. Familiarity with medical terminology and various specialties including but not limited to gastroenterology, endocrinology, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Experience with critical care environments (ICU experience) or emergency medicine is highly desirable. Background in health coaching or patient education is a plus. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical procedures relevant to the role. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 95.00-105.00 per hour
