Paint Plant - General Operator
to join our experienced finishing team.About the Role:
As a key member of our paint plant department, you will contribute to the high-quality finishing of a wide range of customer components. You will receive full training, and once fully competent, you will be expected to work independently within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Selecting paint from stock and preparing the spray booth and powder coating guns for each new job Carrying out frequent colour changeovers Spraying parts of various sizes to meet required quality standards Verifying paint thickness and gloss levels on completed products Jigging and masking components according to drawing details Packing finished parts ready for despatch Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area, including general housekeeping duties
What We're Looking For:
Ideally a minimum of 1 year's experience on a powder coat or wet paint plant Candidates without experience but willing to undertake training will also be considered Ability to read and understand engineering drawings (desirable but not essential) Confidence to work unsupervised, managing tasks efficiently within a team of around eight people A reliable, proactive attitude with good attention to detail * Competitive pay and company benefits
