Duties



Operate paint spraying equipment and other power tools to apply coatings accurately on diverse surfaces. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality. Use precision measuring instruments and basic math skills to verify dimensions and coating thicknesses meet specifications. Handle materials safely, including mixing paints, managing supplies, and maintaining proper storage of hazardous substances. Assist in fabrication and assembly tasks as needed, supporting overall project workflows with hand tools and welding equipment. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, cleaning spray guns, and troubleshooting mechanical issues promptly. Follow safety protocols diligently, including crane and forklift operation when handling large components or materials.

Requirements



Proven experience in industrial or construction painting. Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes, machining, welding, and fabrication methods. Familiarity with forklift operation, crane handling, and warehouse experience for efficient materials movement. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and basic math for accurate work execution. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction on the production floor. Skills in painting techniques combined with understanding of materials handling and safety procedures.
