Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled

Paint Sprayer / Applicator

to join the Intelligent Membranes team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in spraying, rolling, or brushing coatings within the construction environment and a strong commitment to precision and quality. This role is key to delivering high-performance airtightness and protective finishes across a wide range of projects, from new builds to retrofits. You'll be working with our innovative, water-based products -- including Passive Purple and Passive Purple External -- helping clients achieve the highest standards of energy efficiency and building performance.

Responsibilities

Prepare substrates for spraying or coating by cleaning, priming, and taping as required Apply Intelligent Membranes products using spray machines, rollers, or brushes Ensure consistent coverage and correct film thickness in line with technical specifications Work closely with site managers, trades, and technical teams to ensure airtightness targets are met Carry out quality checks and report on application results Maintain spray equipment, tools, and PPE in excellent working condition Follow all Intelligent Membranes safety, environmental, and health protocols on-site Support with airtightness testing preparation and remedial sealing where necessary Perform manual handling tasks, including moving spraying equipment and materials

Skills & Experience

Proficiency in

paint spraying techniques

(airless spraying experience highly advantageous) Background in construction site work and familiarity with building practices Ability to read and follow technical datasheets and application guidelines Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements Basic carpentry/joinery knowledge is a plus (for prep/sealing around penetrations) Experience with airtightness, insulation, or retrofit works beneficial but not essential Physically fit with the ability to perform manual handling and work at height when required A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering quality finishes
