Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing steel surfaces for painting, ensuring that all materials are ready and properly prepped for the painting process. This position requires a blend of mechanical knowledge, familiarity with power tools, and an eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Operate various power tools and hand tools to assist in the preparation process. Assemble and fabricate components as required for the painting process. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with chemicals and machinery. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a structural steel environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools effectively. Familiarity with basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to painting tasks. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required. A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
