Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across various residential and commercial properties. Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other tools. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to achieve desired aesthetic effects. Protect surrounding areas by covering floors, furniture, and fixtures during painting processes. Maintain a clean and organised workspace throughout each project. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards. Assist in the planning and scheduling of projects to meet deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles is preferred. Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting equipment between sites. Strong communication skills in English are essential for liaising with clients and team members effectively. Knowledge of different painting techniques, materials, colours, and finishes. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. A proactive attitude with attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
