Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Painter & Decorator

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction painting and excellent communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying a variety of finishes, and ensuring all work is delivered to the highest standards in both residential and commercial settings. A

valid driving licence and CSCS card

are essential, as travel to multiple job sites will be part of the role.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming as needed. Apply paint, varnish, and decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Deliver all work to a high-quality standard in line with client specifications. Communicate clearly with clients to understand and meet their expectations. Maintain a safe, tidy, and organised workspace at all times. Work collaboratively with other trades on-site to support smooth project delivery. Stay updated on new techniques, tools, and materials within the trade.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating. Valid

CSCS card

(essential). Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Valid driving licence (essential for travel between sites). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Keen attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. Physical fitness and the ability to lift/move heavy materials when required.
