Job Summary

We are looking for a decorator to paint the external of a building which is 120 m. You will be painting straight onto brick., we need someone to start this weekend because of the weather conditions the location is Bridgwater, and also they will be having a carnival so the Scaffolding needs to be, ideally we need someone to start today,

this can lead to further job opportunities we have a further seven internal flats that need decorating all new build, and then after Christmas, another five large bed six bedroom flats,

Must have own tools, ideally

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team, responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal and protection of various interior and exterior surfaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting, excellent communication skills, and a professional attitude. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, delivering high-quality finishes that meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Decorate interiors and exteriors according to project specifications and colour schemes Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety standards are maintained throughout the process Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise Maintain a clean and organised workspace during and after completion of projects Assist with colour matching and selecting appropriate materials for different surfaces when required

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation between sites Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications accurately Good organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including climbing ladders, working at heights, and handling tools for extended periods

Pay: 120.00-160.00 per day
