Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves transforming spaces through high-quality painting and decorating, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Select and mix colours to achieve desired effects while adhering to client specifications. Install wallpaper and other decorative materials as required. Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the project duration. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress. Drive to various job sites as necessary, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating is essential. A valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites. Proficiency in English with strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
