Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring high-quality results that meet our clients' expectations. A valid driving licence is preferred as travel to various job sites may be required.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure a precise fit. Mix paints and finishes to achieve desired colours and textures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress. Collaborate with other tradespeople as necessary to complete projects on time.

Requirements

Proven experience in painting or a related field. Strong communication skills in English, verbal . Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when required.
