Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through paint and decoration, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our clients' expectations. This role requires an eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to communicate effectively team members.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks ames taping and filling to new plaster board partitions Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Select appropriate materials and colours based on client preferences and project requirements. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while adhering to health and safety regulations. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring a safe working environment. Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed to complete projects efficiently.

Skills

Proficient in painting techniques and methods, with a strong attention to detail. Ability to drive to various job sites as required. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Capability to work independently as well as part of a team. A creative mindset with the ability to visualise the end result of projects. Previous experience in painting and decorating is essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 16.00-22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 84 per week
