Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role involves both interior and exterior painting, as well as decorative finishes, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Execute decorative techniques such as stencilling or wallpapering to enhance aesthetic appeal. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and materials. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly. Adhere to health and safety regulations while working on-site.

Requirements

Proven experience in painting and decorating is essential. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between job sites. Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per hour
