Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across various residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will be proficient in construction painting, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities



Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail. Use a variety of tools and equipment including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding safely and effectively. Follow project specifications and colour schemes accurately to meet client expectations. Maintain a clean work environment by disposing of waste materials responsibly and ensuring safety protocols are adhered to at all times. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered. Assist in the planning and organising of decorating projects to ensure timely completion.

Experience



Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is highly desirable. Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation between sites. Strong communication skills in English are essential for clear interaction with clients and team members. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to painting and decorating work is advantageous. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively within a team setting. Prior experience using various painting tools and techniques will be considered an asset. Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 4 weeks

Pay: 20.00-22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
