We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers as necessary Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Ensure colour matching and finish quality meet client specifications and company standards Protect surrounding areas with masking tape or coverings during painting tasks Maintain tools and equipment in excellent condition for optimal performance Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met within deadlines Follow health and safety regulations at all times during work activities

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating is highly desirable Valid driving licence to facilitate travel between sites Excellent communication skills in English to liaise effectively with clients and team members Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to deliver high-quality finishes Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if required

Job Type: Temp to perm

Pay: 15.26-17.50 per hour

Work Location: In person
