Greystone are Reactive and Planned Maintenance Company based in East Kilbride.

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team of painters currently working in locations in Central Scotland. The successful candidate will possess a keen eye for detail excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to transforming spaces with colour and finish, ensuring client satisfaction through professional workmanship. A valid driving licence, and at least 2 year's experience in painting and decorating is essential. You will be provided with a Company vehicle.

40 hour week

8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Fully Clean Driving Licence

CSCS Card essential (currently in date)

References will be requested

Responsibilities



Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Decorate interiors and exteriors of residential, commercial, or industrial properties Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety standards Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements Follow health and safety regulations at all times during work activities

Requirements



Proven experience in construction painting and decorating Valid driving licence is preferred for transportation between sites Strong communication skills in English to liaise with clients and team members effectively Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments Good organisational skills with attention to detail Physical fitness to undertake manual tasks including lifting and working at heights if required Reliable with a professional attitude towards work commitments
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
