We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes in both residential and commercial settings. The successful applicant will be able to communicate effectively with clients and team members, ensuring that all projects meet expectations.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces in a professional manner. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting both quality and safety regulations. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues as they arise. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled work.

Experience

Proven experience in painting and decorating is essential for enthusiastic candidates willing to learn. Ability to communicate effectively in English with clients and colleagues. A valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between job sites But not essential Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. 1/2 references are required.
