Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high standard of finish on various projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary. Apply paint and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Follow health and safety regulations at all times on-site. Collaborate with other tradespeople as required on larger projects.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting or a similar role. Strong communication skills in English to liaise with clients and team members effectively. A valid driving licence is required for transportation of materials and tools. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. CSCS card mandatory Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods. Pay: 13.01-18.00 per hour
