Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure a perfect fit. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and design choices. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project timelines are met. Keep work areas clean and organised throughout the duration of each project.

Skills

Proficient in painting techniques and knowledge of various materials and finishes. Ability to drive to different job sites as required. Strong command of English to facilitate clear communication with clients and team members. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in every project.

Pay: 14.50-16.00 per hour
