We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for painting and a keen eye for detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. The Painter will work both independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively to meet project deadlines and specifications.

The company operates 2 Care Home sites in Central Scotland (Lennoxtown and Cumbernauld)

Duties/Key Responsibilities

All aspects of Painting & Decorating whilst working in Care Homes Hanging of wallpaper Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks Using brushes & rollers Ensure proper coverage and smooth application of paint Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment when necessary Clean and maintain painting tools, equipment and work area Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Managers/operations team when appropriate

Skills Required

Good communication skills in English both verbal and written (when required) Ability to work to flexible schedules and to deadlines provided. Ability to work on their own or in a team. Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures. Full Driving Licence (REQUIRED). Own transport (REQUIRED)
