Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable

Painter and Decorator

to join our growing team. This role involves both interior and exterior painting, as well as decorative finishes, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of excellence.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Mix and match paint colours to achieve desired results. Execute decorative techniques such as stencilling or wallpapering as required. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure cleanliness of work areas. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Drive to various job sites as necessary to complete projects in a timely manner.

Requirements

Proven 4 years+ experience in painting and decorating is essential. Full UK driving licence. Proficiency in English to facilitate communication with clients and team members. Good knowledge of materials, tools, and surface preparation techniques. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. A creative mindset with an understanding of colour theory and design principles is advantageous.
