Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. A valid driving licence is preferred, as travel to different job sites will be required. We work nationwide and will be travelling around the country to service our clients needs. The successful applicant will receive a company van with fuel card.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with client specifications. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on site. Keep work areas clean and organised throughout the duration of each project.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driving licence is advantageous for travel to various job locations. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
