Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team, responsible for transforming and maintaining interior and exterior surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure a smooth base for painting or decorating. Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes with precision using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to deliver accurate results aligned with project requirements. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to coordinate work schedules and ensure timely completion of projects. Manage the organisation of tools and materials to optimise workflow efficiency. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure high standards are maintained throughout each project.

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is essential. Familiarity with various painting techniques and decorating styles is highly desirable. Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation between sites. Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and team members. Prior experience working on diverse projects will be advantageous in handling different surfaces and materials efficiently.
