Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. A valid driving licence is essential for this position as travel to different job sites will be required.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and timelines. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly. Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment. Keep work areas tidy and organised throughout the duration of each project.

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members. A valid driving licence is required to facilitate travel between job sites. Previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage but not mandatory; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and develop their skills in this field.
