Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail in both residential and commercial settings. A valid driving licence is essential for this position, as travel to different job sites will be required.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines while ensuring quality workmanship.

Experience

Previous experience in construction painting is essential. Proficiency in English with strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. A valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites. Experience in both interior and exterior painting projects is preferred. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
