We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team immediately The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet client specifications. Responsibilities

Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of paints and finishes. Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other tools. Mixing paints and matching colours to achieve desired aesthetic effects. Protecting surrounding areas by masking or covering floors and furniture during application processes. Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards. Communicating effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment throughout each project.

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is highly desirable. Strong colour sense and attention to detail to produce neat, professional finishes. Good communication skills in English to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues. Valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between sites efficiently. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for prolonged periods of standing, climbing ladders, and handling tools safely.
