Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. The Painter & Decorator will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and executing decorative techniques to enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and preferences. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while adhering to safety regulations. Keep work areas tidy and organised throughout the duration of projects.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator or in a similar role is preferred. Strong communication skills in English to liaise with clients and team members effectively. Ability to drive and hold a valid driving licence for transportation to job sites. Proficiency in various painting techniques and knowledge of materials used in the industry. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.

Pay: 35,000.00-39,000.00 per year
