Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess a keen eye for detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring high-quality results that meet client specifications. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and clients effectively.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard of quality and within project timelines. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on progress. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting is essential. Valid driving licence is preferred for transportation to various job sites. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and team members. Strong communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate with others. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Location

The role involves travelling away from home for up to 2 weeks at a time to work on projects all across Scotland Permanent accommodation may be available depending on preferred location
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
