Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and client satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting is essential. Strong communication skills in English to effectively liaise with clients and team members. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and reliability. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
