We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all painting and decorating tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Measure and cut wallpaper or fabric for decorative purposes. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and materials. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Keep work areas clean and organised throughout the duration of projects.

Skills

Proficient in construction painting techniques with a strong understanding of various materials and finishes. Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members. Strong driving skills, with a valid driving licence to travel to various job sites as required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
