About the Role

Finesse Fit Out is an independent construction company, delivering high-quality commercial fit outs, operating throughout the UK. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial painting and decorating, with a strong eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing surfaces (sanding, filling, and priming) before painting or wallpapering Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces Hanging wallpaper and specialist wall coverings Mixing and matching paints and colours according to specifications Ensuring all work areas are clean, tidy, and safe Working independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines Following all health and safety procedures on site

Experience

Proven experience as a painter and decorator Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials Ability to work to deadlines and maintain a high standard of finish

Qualifications

CSCS card (essential) Manual Handling Certificate (essential) Asbestos Awareness Certificate (essential) Full UK driving licence (preferred) Own tools and transport (an advantage)
