We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for the job.

This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes in our clients homes as part of a planned kitchen and bathroom programme. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering exceptional results while adhering to safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AND A DRIVING LICENCE

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes to ensure a smooth finish. Select and mix paints, stains, and other finishes according to specifications. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour choices and techniques. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard within agreed timelines. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a tidy workspace at all times.

Skills

Proficient in various painting techniques and methods. Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. Ability to drive to various job sites as required. Competent in reading and understanding English for following instructions and safety protocols. Attention to detail with an artistic flair for colour matching and design aesthetics. Time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.
