Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess strong communication skills. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. This role requires a commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Apply paint, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Follow project specifications and adhere to deadlines. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and requirements. Drive to various job sites as required.

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting is essential. Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence. Proficiency in English for effective communication with clients and team members. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
