to help us bring new life into our spaces.

Job Overview

We're looking for someone hands-on, reliable, and with a great eye for detail to help uplift several rooms and assist with general maintenance tasks around the home. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming spaces and contributing to a positive atmosphere for vulnerable adults.

You'll be an essential part of our small and passionate team, working towards improving the living environment for our residents and helping us stay on track with our refurbishment timeline.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and repairing walls before painting or decorating Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, or other finishes using appropriate tools and techniques Carry out general maintenance tasks around the care home as needed Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards Maintain tools and equipment in good condition Work closely with the home manager and staff to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Travel between sites (if required) - a valid driving licence is essential

Requirements

Proven experience in painting, decorating, or general maintenance Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Strong communication skills in English A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in Valid UK driving licence DBS check may be required (we can support this process if needed)
