Job Description

We are looking for someone to join our Roost on a part-time fixed term basis, with the successful candidate working 5 days out of 7 between 8am & 6pm for a period of 5 weeks. Our new Painter will become a key part of our existing, friendly and experienced property team at our Portsburgh Court property in Edinburgh.

Hours: 20 per week


Salary: 13,104 per annum (pro rata)


Fixed term period: 5 weeks in August / September 2025

As a Summer Painter, youll play a key role during our busiest seasonsupporting with room turnarounds, painting and decorating, and helping to keep our buildings in top condition. Youll work closely with the site team, tackling tasks with care, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Heres what youll be doing;

Painting & Decorating: Refreshing rooms and communal areas to a high standard. Maintenance Support: Assisting with minor repairs and reporting larger issues. Teamwork: Collaborating with site staff to ensure smooth summer operations. Compliance Awareness: Following health and safety guidelines in all tasks.
