Responsibilities:
The role will be varied and will be split between painting new timber windows in our workshop. There will also be restored sash and case windows that will require painting both on site and in the workshop. Jobs are based in Edinburgh with a large portion of work being at a hotel in the city centre. Our workshop is based in Livingston and will be the base for work.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing any damage
- Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns. Experience with spray gun for painting windows in our spray booth, Spray guns rollers and brushes are used to achieve a high quality finish.
- Ensure proper coverage and smooth finish
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Ability to work to targets and get tasks completed on time and to a high standard.
- Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear which will be provided
- Be well presented and adhere to company values
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Knowledge of painting techniques and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and precision
