Overview


We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services for both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques, construction experience, and a keen eye for detail. This role requires proficiency in color theory, blueprint reading, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.

Duties



Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying equipment. Perform plastering and caulking to ensure smooth surfaces before painting. Execute restoration and renovation projects with precision and care. Read blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements and specifications. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and electricians during the course of projects. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Conduct maintenance tasks as needed to uphold the quality of painted surfaces. Assist with fixture installation and other related maintenance person tasks when required.

Qualifications



Proven experience in residential and commercial painting; industrial painting experience is a plus. Strong understanding of color theory and construction estimating skills. Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety practices. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and perform basic math calculations related to measurements. Experience with plastering, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, concrete finishing, and remodeling is highly desirable. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and airless paint spraying systems. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 16.00-22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
