Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services for both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of color theory, construction techniques, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in every project undertaken. Must have own tools and transport. Must be DBS checked.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment. Execute residential and commercial painting projects with precision and care. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including power tools and hand tools. Follow safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting. Experience with renovation projects, including remodeling and fixture installation. Strong maintenance person experience with a background in maintenance tasks is desirable. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
